Lay Hoon also known as Arty Guava is an artist and illustrator currently residing in Vancouver, Canada. Born and raised in Malaysia, her aesthetics are heavily influenced by the Asian culture and her relationship with the natural world. Her style is bold, eclectic, and whimsical.

Being a full-time designer and a mother of a 5-year-old boy, she is always busy doing something. Sometimes it feels like she is running a never-ending marathon. Only Lazy Days was created as a reminder to slow down and just be in the moment. "Whenever I look at this artwork, I am reminded that it is absolutely ok to do just nothing."
